第5屆陳偉殷棒球訓練營今天在台大棒球場進行開幕典禮，除了主角陳偉殷外，旅外小聯盟球員宋文華、王維中、曾仁和、胡智為、張進德、猿隊投手王溢正等都到場參加，還有前日職球星小池正晃到場，讓現場星光雲集。
台北市長柯文哲也特別為妻子陳珮琪「代打」出征，他說：「我老婆昨天值大夜班，不然她應該要來的。」
柯文哲也說：「陳偉殷回來就是為台灣盡一份心力，他將帶給這些年輕球員大聯盟的訓練特質與方式，當然他的成功，除了天份還有很多我們看不到的辛苦努力。」
他認為，棒球是最流行的運動，也是台灣最多觀眾的運動，在世界也佔有一席之地，可以跟古巴、日本等國相抗?，謝謝陳偉因為台灣棒球盡一份心力。
而殷仔也親切地指導柯文哲如何握球，如何開出漂亮的球，結果柯文哲拿到球就投，有點尷尬，加上跟主持人的速度沒有配合好，也形成開球2次的有趣畫面。
